FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Two men were indicted by a Tarrant County Grand Jury Monday, Feb. 8, for murder of a Burleson teen last September.
Shaunathan McMahon, 17, a student at Burleson High School, was found shot near a basketball court at the Alsbury Villas on 755 NE Alsbury Blvd. on Sept. 21, 2020.
Xavier Miranda and Bryan Keith Dominguez were indicted for his murder.
McMahon was shot and killed when Burleson Police said he and three other teenagers met up for a drug deal.
One of the three teenagers thought the money for the drugs was counterfeit, and McMahon ran, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.
He was shot in the back of the head and later died at a hospital.
Another teen faces a charge of tampering with physical evidence.
